Event
People want to communicate with each other at an event, for example:
- Conference
- Festival
- Sport Event
The communication platform at an event should be as simple as possible for the user. No installing an app or a tedious registration process. The user should be able to open a website, give himself a name and then communicate with the other participants. Of course, the organizer also wants to be able to reach his participants and send information.
Functional requirements for the system
Anonymous Identity
Event timeline
News Broadcast
Find other users
Send location
Works on mobile device
Challenges
- Data should belong to the user
- System should be able to be set up and dismantled quickly
- Data should no longer be available after the event (system reset).
Possible solutions
Use existing service, such as WhatsApp or Telegram.
Not all visitors use the same service
No event specific features
The product cannot necessarily be branded for the event
Adoption
Develop a solution yourself, e.g. with Firebase
Developing a secure solution takes a lot of time
Costs
Develop an infrastructure-efficient system based on a secure platform, where the data belongs to the user, can be used on any device and does not require a central login.
Solution
One solution could be to develop a conference platform, with specific features like real-time user information when the next presentation is, based on kaila. kaila is suitable for temporary communication during an event. No data is stored centrally. The infrastructure is minimal and can be duplicated without problems.
- No central identity, respectively no user administration necessary
- Minimal operating costs
- Easy assembly and disassembly
- No "out of the box" application
